A Winamp Question...kind of complex!

Well first of all, happy Thanksgiving if applicable! Lol! Anyway, I have a question regarding a plug-in I just downloaded. It's supposed to be something that works with winamp that will display what I am listening to for my contacts on messenger. It is similar to the way messenger works wit hWindows Media player to display what I am listening to, except it works with winamp, I believe it is called gen_msn, or something of that matter. Anyway, I download the plugin, which seems to be working fine, but when it displays on messenger, the title and artist are in the wrong order. How do I fix this?

I don't know the answer, but believe it is available from the homepage for the plugin

I suspect one of two possibilities. Firstly this may be a quirk of the plug-in and that's just how it displays. More likely though is that the program is taking the display info from the file's mp3 data and not the filename, as these don't necessarily match. Some people have their tracks saved as artist followed by track name. I do it the correct way of course, which is track name then artist :-)
I hope this is helpful, though it's only a best guess

Ah, I see, maybe that's the problem. I am trying a few things to see how this may work out, but maybe I'll just have to deal with it that way. Thanks!

You can access the edit field where this information is placed, so why not flip the 2 bits of tag so that they display the opposite way about?

Sounds like a cool plug in. I'll have to check it out. Can you post the link?

I found something like this, but its for IRC. Its called AMIP. If this one does the same thing as AMIP, its a really neat plugin.
